1948 - Leopoldo and Giuseppe Zappa - the youngest sons of a big peasant family - share a great passion for mechanics and decide to found a small workshop in Rho, where they manufacture machines for tanneries and bakeries on behalf of third parties.

1950 - During their business travels all around Italy, they come into contact with companies dealing with coil plate processing. They manufacture the first shears (the prototype will be patented later).

1970 - The company Zappa enlarges and moves to Pogliano, where the current headquarter is located. From this moment on, they start to specialize on cutting lines for coils and to spread all over Italy and the world.

1970/2007 - Our activity consolidates in this direction under the family leadership of 3 Zappa generations and following this philosophy: simplicity, precision and quality.
